The Symphonic Band is the foundation of our music program. Symphonic Band is a year-long comprehensive music course. The ensemble rehearses during the school day and performs three times a year. These performances consist of a Winter Concert, a “Music in Our Schools” concert and a Spring Concert.
The prerequisite for acceptance into the ensemble is participation in the 8th grade Concert Band. Students with playing experience, not currently enrolled in 8th grade Concert Band may sign up with a recommendation from their middle school band director or by audition.
